What we believe
Concerning God: God is the Creator of the universe. He exists eternally through three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They are equal and form one God.
Concerning Man: Man was created in the image of God. Man was the purpose of God's creation. Man is separated from God because of an attitude of disobedience which God calls ''sin''.
Concerning Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the son of God. He is equal to the Father and the Holy Spirit. He lived a life without sin and offered Himself on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity. After three days He rose from the dead demonstrating that he overcame sin and death. He now reigns in heaven with God the Father and will return for those who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior.
Concerning Salvation: Salvation is God's gift to humanity. Man cannot be saved by his own merit or good works. It is only by faith in Jesus Christ that man can be saved from the consequences of sin.
Concerning the Bible: The Bible is God's perfect Word sent to all humanity, written by men inspired and driven by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the only guide of faith for the life of every Christian.
Concerning the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and the Son. He comes to live in every Christian at the time of salvation. He gives to every Christian the strength they need to live each day, understanding for the truths of God's Word and drive to do what is right. The Holy Spirit acts in the world to convict men of their need of Jesus Christ.
