The evangelical church Lumières des Nations is called to touch and to transform the region of the Eastern Townships. For this, our church preaches the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible calls us to pray constantly (1 Thess. 5:17), that is to say, that it is not necessary to pray only during the Sunday worship meeting, but also in our homes, in school or in all other places at all times. God looks for men and women who want to intercede for the earth before him. Ezekiel 22:30 says: "I look among them for a man who raises a wall, who stands fast in the breach before Me seeking the favor of the country, so that I don't destroy it; but I don't find any, none.” In this light, the church Lumière des Nations holds to a team of intercessors who is dedicated to pray for the following objectives:

OBJECTIVES

To "pray for a holy church, without spot or wrinkle before God. (Ephesians 5:27)
To "pray to continue to be a church that has influence and good relationships with men and the political and government authorities.
To "pray for our pastors, elders, leaders, servants and for all the whole church (1Timothy 2: 1-6)
To "pray for the finances of the church.
To "intercede in general for the families, for the church, and couples, and bachelors, and the young and the children.
To "pray financially for the sick and the most helpless people.
To "pray for the salvation of the souls in the Eastern Townships.
To "pray so that God's glory spreads out on all the regions of the Eastern Townships (2 Thess. 3:1)
To "pray for the government authorities of the city of Sherbrooke, the province of Quebec and also the Prime Minister of Quebec as well as of Canada.
To "pray for the police of Sherbrooke, for the protection of each of its members.
To "pray for the economic and financial development of the region of the Eastern Townships and its entrepreneurs.
To "pray for the project: City of the Nations
To "pray for school authorities, either public or private.
To "pray for the church of Jesus Christ in the Eastern Townships area.
To "pray for the worship times in homes
To "respond to the personal petitions submitted to the prayer group.
To "And regarding every preceding thing, to pray according to the direction of God's Holy Spirit
